Neben dem 260 qm großen und sehr gut tanzbaren Eichparkettboden gibt es einen ebenso großen Auffenthaltsbereich — genügend Platz also für über hundert Sitzplätze, etwas Kunst, viel wohliges Grün, eine gut ausgestattete Bar und Gebäck vom “BioKaiser“. Regelmäßig laden wir auch bekannte Tango-Mode– oder Schuh-Verkäufer:innen ein oder lassen unsere Flohmarkt stattfinden, bei dem jeder seine gebrauchte Tango-Kleidung oder Schuhe feil bieten kann. / In addition to the 260 square meter oak parquet floor, which is very easy to dance to, there is an equally large lounge area — enough space for over a hundred seats, some art, lots of pleasant greenery, a well-stocked bar and pastries from “BioKaiser“. We also regularly invite well-known Tango fashion or shoe sellers or hold our flea market, where everyone can offer their used Tango clothing or shoes.
Die Seilerbahn, eine alte Seilfrabrik, ist ein sehr spezieller Veranstaltungsort. Mehr noch als an anderen ‚kommerziellen‘ Locations, bitten wir darum, die Räume und das Gelände verantwortungsvoll zu nutzen! Das bedeutet:
- Keine Autos auf dem Gelände
- Umweltbewusstsein (kein Müll, vor allem keine Kippen)
- Finanzielle Solidarität
The Seilerbahn, an old rope factory, is a very special event location. Even more than at other ‘commercial’ locations, we ask that you use the rooms and grounds responsibly! That means:
- No cars on site
- Environmental awareness (no rubbish, especially no cigarette butts)
- Financial solidarity
Wem es finanziell möglich ist, möge bitte zusätzlich zur Teilnahmegebühr noch etwas spenden! So unterstützt ihr nachhaltig die Location und solidarisch finanziell schwächere Teilnehmer. / If you are financially able, please donate something in addition to the participation fee! In this way you sustainably support the location and show solidarity with financially weaker participants.
Wer wenig oder kein Geld hat, wende sich bitte an die Veranstalter-Crew – Informiert uns vorab oder direkt vor Ort, wenn eure Situation schnell vermittelbar ist. Studierende unter 28 Jahre zahlen per se weniger. Wenn sie aus wohlhabenden Verhältnissen stammen, gilt der vorherige Absatz auch für sie. / If you have little or no money, please contact the organizer crew – let us know in advance or directly on site if your situation can be mediated quickly. Students under 28 pay less per se. If they come from a wealthy background, the previous paragraph also applies to them.
Nicht zuletzt sind Tiere Teil des Seilerbahn-Geschehens und das Gelände ist von Gärten und Obstbäumen umgeben. Explizit als privat ausgewiesene Gärten sind also bitte nicht zu betreten. / Last but not least, animals are part of the Seilerbahn activity and the area is surrounded by gardens and fruit trees. Please do not enter gardens that are explicitly designated as private.

Wir wünschen uns eine fließende Ronda, heißt wir achten auf einen Tanzfluss gegen den Uhrzeigersinn in Bahnen. Sowohl dem uns folgenden Paar als auch dem vor uns tanzenden Paar geben wir genügend Raum und ein nicht-notwendiges Überholen sollte vermieden werden. Die Wertschätzung des Tanzraumes eines jeden Paars wird priorisiert. Über Unterhaltungen, die während der Cortinas und bei Tanzpausen außerhalb der Tanzfläche stattfinden freuen wir uns. Wir möchten alle Tänzer bitten das Auffordern mit ‚mirada‘ und ‚cabeceo‘ zu handhaben und damit Achtung und Respekt gegenüber den Auffordernden und Aufgeforderten zu zeigen. Vielen Dank. / We want a flowing Ronda, which means we pay attention to a counterclockwise dance flow in lanes.
